Got the SRV-1 Blackfin board static mounted for now until I have the P/T system ready. The people at www.surveyor.com are amazing.. If you need a bot brain, this is a good place to start.

I broke down and got a ready made cpu board with a camera already attached.. It even came with some software to control it all..
Now waiting for the box to arrive.
I plan to use this board to interface to the S1/S2 controls of the Saber tooth drive. This board also has some other usable i/o, that I will plan to setup P/T for the turret (camera). The board is from www.surveyor.com/blackfin as a complete robot or separate board. Since this board outputs PWM to its own controller, I should be able to drive the Sabertooth with very minimal fuss.

I also managed to do a radio shack run and pickup the final switches for the power/charge, drive disable and rx bind..
